Day: Early morning departure to Sofia – lunch; a walking tour of the main landmarks of the capital (St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the National Assembly building, St. Nicholas Russian Church, the Royal Palace, the Presidency, the Council of Ministers, St. Petka, St. George and St. Nedelya churches); late afternoon departure to Rila Monastery; dinner and overnight in the vicinity of the monastery;
2. Day: Breakfast; optional visit of the early morning mass at the monastery church; breakfast; sightseeing tour of Rila Monastery – the biggest and the most beautiful one in the country, an excellent example of the Bulgarian Revival arts and architecture; departure to Rupite country
veiled in the halo of the mystic energy of Prophet Vanga who chose to spend here the last days of her life; free time for exploring the complex around “St. Petka of Bulgaria” temple; continue to the town of Petrich, visit to the museum of Vanga. Afternoon departure and late evening return.
