Day 1.
Early morning departure; arrival in Bucharest at noon; walking tour in the Old Quarter of Lipskani built on the site of the oldest populated region of Bucharest – a charming quarter with cobbled streets and numerous bizarre art antique shops and boutiques, bookstores, theaters and countless cafes, bars and restaurants; lunch; panoramic bus tour of downtown Bucharest featuring Uniri Square, University Square, Victoria Square and the Square of the Revolution; photo stop in front of the Parliament – the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon combining a monumental exterior with a splendid interior; continue to Sinaia and Bran; dinner and overnight;
Day 2.
Breakfast; morning visit to the Hunting Residence of the Romanian Prince Vlad, built in 14th century upon a 60 m high rock, commonly known as Dracula’s Castle; free time for lunch; departure to Sinaia; visit of Peles Palace – the former summer residence of the Romanian kings in 18-19. centuries; today beautifully recreating the old-time interior and atmosphere; visit of Sinaia Monastery dating back to 17. century, one of the most sacred Christian sites also possessing a rich collection of valuable icons;
Afternoon departure to Bulgaria and late evening return.
