Ropotamo River Nature Reserve
Our journey begins with a scenic drive along the Southern Black Sea Coast towards one of Bulgaria's most beautiful protected areas – the Ropotamo Nature Reserve.

Enjoy a relaxing motor boat cruise on the Ropotamo River, famous for its lush vegetation, unique rock formations, water lilies and rich birdlife. This peaceful river is often called the "Bulgarian Amazon" because of its untouched natural beauty.

Sozopol – The Ancient Apollonia

Continue to Sozopol, one of the oldest towns on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, founded by Greek colonists more than 2,600 years ago.

During a guided walking tour you will discover:

The charming Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets
Traditional Black Sea Revival houses
Ancient fortification walls
Picturesque sea views and hidden corners full of history

You will also visit the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius, where the revered relics of Saint John the Baptist are preserved. The church is famous for its beautiful carved iconostasis and its importance as a pilgrimage site.

After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore the Old Town, shop for souvenirs, or relax with a coffee overlooking the sea.

A traditional Bulgarian lunch is available at the popular Windmill Restaurant, beautifully located near the Old Town.

Burgas

In the afternoon we continue to Burgas, Bulgaria's fourth-largest city and the cultural center of the Southern Black Sea Coast.

Enjoy free time in the city center to:

Stroll along the pedestrian streets
Visit the Sea Garden
Browse local shops and cafés
Experience the relaxed atmosphere of this modern coastal city

Return to your resort in the late afternoon.
