1. Day: Early morning departure to Plovdiv
Walking sightseeing tour in
Plovdiv along the cobbled streets of the Old Quarter and a visit to “St. Constantine & Helena” church.
Arrival in
Sofia. Walking tour of the main landmarks of the capital (St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the National Assembly building, St. Nicholas Russian Church, the Royal Palace, the Presidency, the Council of Ministers, St. Petka, St. George and St. Nedelya churches); free time.
Overnight in a 4* hotel in Blagoevgrad.

2. Day: Breakfast.
Departure to the
Rila Monastery (UNESCO). Sightseeing tour of Rila Monastery – the biggest and the most beautiful one in the country, an excellent example of the Bulgarian Revival arts and architecture.
Departure to
Rupite country
veiled in the halo of the mystic energy of Prophet Vanga who chose to spend here the last days of her life; free time for exploring the complex around “St. Petka of Bulgaria” temple.
Continue to the town of
Melnik. The town is an architectural reserve and 96 of its buildings are cultural monuments. With a population of 385, it is the smallest town in Bulgaria, retaining its town status today for historical reasons. It is situated on the foothills of the Pirin mountain range and is overlooked by the Melnik Earth Pyramids.
Lunch.
Late afternoon departure and late evening return.
